What was wrong with my definition? (Red-neck little hick town on the north coast of New South Wales Australia. Avoid at all costs.) Seems pretty accurate to me, since I used to live there.

So is "red-neck little hick town" what "cathedral town" means?? Maudlingothic 05:57, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
People will confuse that with the definition of Adelaide, being a red-neck medium-sized hick town... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.123.84.51 (talk) 10:22, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I used to live there as well. The widespread use of sunscreen seems to have done wonders for the local inhabitants, not a red neck to be seen last time I was there!Ticklemygrits 06:39, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I still Live here...well not here ....."down river" .....the list of schools need extending Ben920 12:03, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notable People

[edit]

Since not everyone on this list was actually born in Grafton, I have changed it to 'Notable Residents' and added a couple who thereby qualify. Bluedawe 03:20, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Brenton Tarrant

[edit]

I've noticed on this page there has been a lot of back and forth between adding and removing Christchurch shooter Brenton Harrison Tarrant from the "Notable People" section of this page. Just because he's a bad person doesn't mean he shouldn't be there; he's still highly notable, for better or for worse. But there seems to be a different reason he keeps getting removed that I am not aware of, if someone could reply and tell me what that is that would be great. There is an explanation on the topic above this, the one that says "For the mosque shooter stuff", but the link doesn't work. Thanks. Plectiscus (talk) 21:21, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

His name is not needed here. See this. Alexeyevitch(talk) 21:45, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That discussion is kind of confusing, but from what I took away the reason he is not on this page is because he doesn't have his own independent page and thus his name isn't notable enough, correct? Plectiscus (talk) 22:06, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
