[edit]This comes across rather like an advertisement for the C-One and Individual Computers, doesn't it? Rayray 15:29, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps it comes across as an advertisement because it's the only machine of its type. It's aimed at the "retro-hacker" community and specifically those fond of Commodore machines. It's seen as a modern-day continuation of those old vintage platforms.
- Will anyone be brave enough to include the less-than-shining history of the C-1? the fiascoes like Jeri never actually having a working C64 core, the chilling effect the vapourware product had on other FPGA Commodore projects, the blatant sexism used by people promoting the project online, the 'secret' 64DTV project's effect on development progress, the Jeri and Jens stoush.. 203.14.156.192 (talk) 17:31, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
I was into this stuff until a few years ago; the only vaguely similar product out there is perhaps the |http://www.xgamestation.com XGameStation| board, but it's more aimed at people new to low-level programming and hardware development, not really covering retro computing directly at all. --59.167.99.43 04:10, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
Delete this non-notable cack, you abysmal cunts. 90.211.193.175 (talk) 22:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Updated content?
[edit]There are several 'reconfigurable' FPGA-based platforms out there now, including a plug-in card for the Apple ][, the CarteBlance_fpga card.
The onechipmsx is apparently not available in the United States. I added a reconfigurable computing subcategory under computing to allow articles about FPGA-based platforms (and others) to be group together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikip rhyre (talk • contribs) 20:57, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Amiga clone
[edit]I can not find any sources to backup this claim. C-One home page says nothing about it. Xorxos (talk) 17:54, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on C-One. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110726112152/http://www.jschoenfeld.com/news/news133_e.htm to http://www.jschoenfeld.com/news/news133_e.htm
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110525145239/http://c64upgra.de/c-one/s_news.htm to http://www.c64upgra.de/c-one/s_news.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
