Welcome!

Hello, Jkl, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Thank you for the new AC-3 algorithm article. Just a small remark. On Wikipedia, the variables are made italic, so X is preferred to plain X. Enjoy! Oleg Alexandrov 18:57, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

World Citizen userbox, {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}}

[edit]

Hi, I noticed the message saying you're a World Citizen, I would like to invite you to add {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}} to your user page if you wish to proclaim it in a more effective way, and this template will also add you automatically to the Wikipedians with World Citizenship category. :) --Mistress Selina Kyle 23:54, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on the Battle of Ratan and Sävar were just fine, but they were based on a false version a fake version by a blocked vandal who has been blocked. So I restored the original text, feel free to edit the original text. I would be most happy if you were to revert to my version and then work on it however you see fit Shipseggsbasket (talk) 19:29, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm uncomfortable with the unattributed casualty numbers in "your" edition. What I will do is this; I shall consult my sources and edit the article to match what I can find as consensus. Probably not tonight my time, it's getting too late to hunt in the library jkl (talk) 19:39, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The guy who changed the numbers has been going around all of Wikipedia and decreasing Swedish casualties and increasing the number of whoever they were fighting, he had done so in several 100 articles 99,999999% of his edits were unreferenced and the others were homemade internet pages Shipseggsbasket (talk) 20:01, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have reverted to the previous un-sourced numbers and added a source for them. It is the book called "svenska slag" or "svenska slagfalt". I added the ISBN number for reference as well. I believe that this book is a better reference than the web-page. There seem to be some general mixup between the total number of casulties in Savar and Ratan with the casulties in Ratan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.105.57.75 (talk) 07:48, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Portaledge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ten (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). The article Özz Nûjen has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 10:34, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clipper (horse) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Clipper (horse), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
