I made a number of minor grammar/sentence structure corrections and re-named the Dixieland section Jazz as that seemed more accurate. I took out the reference to Dixie being published there, because it wasn't - the Wikipedia entry says it was pubished in New York, NY, in 1860.

There really should be some mention of Neutral Milk Hotel in here even though they based themselves in Athens, Georgia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.162.107.4 (talk) 15:49, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No mention whatsoever of Dr. John? Very strange. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.243.146.166 (talk) 02:29, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recent and Modern Music

[edit]

Articles like this typically have a recency bias, but this one seems to have the exact opposite problem. For how long this article is, it's impressive that only four lines are devoted to covering Louisiana's hiphop scene.

I'm not all that familiar with hiphop in Louisiana in particular, but I'll try to add some info on more recent music history so it's a little more current. 67.254.248.131 (talk) 21:11, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
