[edit]One section reads "xiao hong quan) known as the mother the 18 styles". I suspect it's missing an "of" there. 85.229.222.153 (talk) 22:32, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

Page name
[edit]I see no viable reason for this to be titled Shaolin Kung Fu as opposed to Shaolin kung fu. None of the associated pages style this as Kung Fu. I don't speak Chinese, but I did once study Chinese for a year, and for other reasons I became familiar with several systems of Chinese transliteration. There's no special reason for this to be rendered in title caps, and it certainly isn't a proper noun as a combined unit by any convention I've previously encountered. — MaxEnt 21:04, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

Shaolin Kung Fu → Shaolin kung fu – Per MOS:CAPS, MOS:SPORTCAPS, MOS:FIELD, etc. This is not a trademarked term. The term "kung fu" is not capitalized in body text on Wikipedia. See also the prior comments on Talk page of 10 December 2021 by MaxEnt. — BarrelProof (talk) 06:30, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Support: Yes capitalize the "S" in Shaolin, but the martial art is not a proper noun. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 22:09, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

Bhodhidharma and Orgin of Shaolin KungFu
[edit]Article has not even a mentioning of the name 'Bhodhidharma', if you do crtl + f !
Seems like Chinese counter part doesn't want to give credit for a south Indian monk , who introduced zen t china for introducing shaolin kungfu. We should try to accept facts rather than small egos. Would like to start a discussion here on Bhodhidharma and Origin of Shaolin KungFu. Once concise is reached we can add/ keep intact the article. Afv12e (talk) 20:26, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
