Cheese?
[edit]Who put that the game differs from other "Cheeses" in the COD franchise in the "juice?" Obviously, that should be changed, but to what? "Cheeses" should probably be "games", not sure what "juice" replaced.

Math Problem
[edit]I love how the page says some sources gave the game 7/10, while other gave it 3.5/5. DO THE MATH. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.140.43.149 (talk) 18:22, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
The Great Crusade
[edit]I've removed the following:
The name of the mission were you storm the beaches of Normandy is called "The Great Crusade", when it was never called that and it is D-day.
...under the "Innacuracies" section. The text this is referring to is not specifically referring to the name of the operation you are embarking on, and is more of a chapter heading. Additionally, "The Great Crusade" is referring to the letter Eisenhower wrote to the soldiers engaging in the operation [1]. I think it would be incorrect to say this was a gaffe on the part of the game. TheMaster42 06:37, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Oops, my bad man. Although I HIGHLY doubht that the inaccuracies section should of been removed. Ace Fighter 22:43, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Title
[edit]It would appear the title of the game is "Call of Duty 2: Big Red One". Right? Perhaps we should move the page to the appropriate title? Heres one site that says it: http://cube.ign.com/objects/734/734315.html K1Bond007 03:42, May 14, 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was starting to notice that the game added the "2". I'll go and move it. Thunderbrand 05:19, May 14, 2005 (UTC)
Engine
[edit]Someone edited the engine to list as Renderware, but this is incorrect. I don't know whether it's still a heavily modified Q3 engine, though, or wholly Treyarch's proprietary engine. I'll fix it once I find out. TheMaster42 23:45, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- According to the lead designer, BRO uses Treyarch's proprietary engine (and by implication, not Renderware): http://gamecube.gamezone.com/news/09_19_05_01_12PM.htm
- Ah, the name of the engine is "NGL" or "Treyarch NGL". http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:5cHKiBJRTvgJ:www.wadeb.com/resume.htm I've updated the article to reflect this.
Characters??
[edit]who put down the info for brooklyns and Denly's bios?? Its lies!! if this is off the collector's Edition version of the game tell me. and about the thing about Scmitty's mother being a teacher and him going to war without a day of training?? wats up with that?? I put Citations down for it. Ace Fighter 23:12, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Holy fuck, we're being lyed to? OH NO! Read the game manual. (USMA2010 03:22, 12 October 2006 (UTC))
Ok then, problem is I bought it without the game manual, and never bothered too. god! and thats bad sarcasm there. Ace Fighter 23:12, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Before someone reverts this, there wasn't any need to include a list of a hundred randomly generated character names. Keep things to brief summaries, especially as the article's plot already does so. --Scottie theNerd 08:57, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
I took out the cites i put in. You're right, those names should be reomoved from the article. THe ones with no summaries about the characters should be terminated. Ace Fighter 22:45, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

More Pictures
[edit]We need more pictures for the gallery, theres only one try to find some I have NO idea how to insert images. That is all. Ace Fighter 21:39, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Whats your name?
[edit]In the game, other soldiers are given randamized names like Conroy and Miller. I was wondering if there is a complete list of all those names. Thanks. Bazooka boy.

Multiplayer?
[edit]I have read on other sites that the only mode avaible is campaign but on this it says there is multiplayer. Is there or is there not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Calvaincool (talk • contribs) 15:49, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
Plot
[edit]How about adding a plot section, telling the aspects of the single-player campaign one-by-one from the first mission to the last like other games? Alirwez061 (talk) 19:36, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
