This revert was justified because the source is weak and claims of clinical use or health benefits are exaggerated. Firstly, it is simply a preliminary study of a few dozen subjects, failing WP:MEDASSESS. Secondly, it reaches a conclusion - "considered as an alternative treatment in patients with allergic rhinitis" - not supported by any clinical organization, WP:MEDORG or a WP:MEDRS review. Secondly, it is too preliminary to mention in an encyclopedia. There are no WP:MEDSCI reviews and no scientific consensus in the clinical or research communities supporting a claim of health benefits by spirulina supplementation. I have seen Smarties use Spirulina as a food colourant, however what other foods use it as a food colourant, and could it's usage as a food colourant be included into the article? Thanks - RandomEditorAAA (talk) 03:36, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please be wary of people on here vandalizing the article in an attempt to sell their products. On a less well known, and well traveled part of wikipedia, people looking to buy the supplement are vulnerable to misinformation. Gregislol (talk) 10:59, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
