This is not history and does a great injustice to an interesting Emperor:

His father was emperor and his mother Gisela of Swabia. Conrad II had given Henry III's father in law Canute Schleswig as fief , when Henry married Canute's daughter named Gunhilda. Gunhilda died in 1038 and Henry III then married Agnes of Poitou in 1043. She was the daughter of William III/V of Aquitaine and Agnes of Burgundy.the son of Henry III and Agnes of Poitou, born at Goslar, became emperor Henry IV of the Holy Roman Empire.

Not sure about the Dynasty -- I was pretty sure that the Salians were Henry I and II, and Henry III was a Conradiner? Also, aren't they the Franconian dynasty? JHK
