This says:

...but never simply as London; although the City was for centuries synonymous with London, the latter term is now reserved for the large conurbation surrounding it.

Can anyone re-word this phrase?? The word "never" means "at no time". Perhaps it should say "...but never since the year (Please add year in here,) simply as London. Georgia guy 02:00, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
