The result of the debate was - Keep
This game is not out yet, Nintendo DS just came out a few days ago, non of the details are verifiable. -Vina 00:43, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Speculation, unverifiable, and trivial. Geogre 01:45, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- As a note, it is indeed verifiable - there was a tech demo for it at E3. That is to say, this game is announced as in development. Snowspinner 03:12, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Unverifiable.
- Above unsigned vote is by Mikedblimpster and is his first edit in Wikipedia. jni 09:23, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Concur with Geogre. jni 09:23, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Contains no encyclopedic information, and there is probably none to add. Andrewa 11:15, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. (As much as I hate being the minority vote in the way of consensus.) Might well turn encyclopedic, given time. -- Itai 17:17, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. An article can be created for this if/when it becomes encyclopedic. GRider\talk 21:04, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Game is announced, and a tech demo has been shown at E3. See [1]. I have revised the article to reflect what information does exist. Snowspinner 17:54, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Andre (talk) 03:42, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
- Sigh. Extreme weak keep. —RaD Man (talk) 06:49, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- A tech demo is not sufficient in my mind to raise a topic to the level needed for an encyclopedia article. Delete until the game is released and has an impact on something (culture, trends in game development, etc.) at which time the article can be easily recreated. Rossami (talk) 15:13, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Would you also want Prince of Persia: Warrior Within deleted, as it doesn't come out until Thursday? What about The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, which existed prior to its Japanese release. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was created in March while the game didn't come out until October. Category:Unreleased albums exists almost purely to chronicle albums that don't exist yet. And not only do we have Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince already, we have Harry Potter: Book Seven already - an article for an unreleased book that doesn't even have a title. We also have non-existant television shows (Law and Order: Trial by Jury) and movies (Serenity (movie)). So why delete this particular unreleased game? What distinguishes it from the large number of articles we have on announced but unreleased items? Snowspinner 16:36, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
- If your other examples are ever nominated, I would vote consistently unless there were extenuating circumstances. I know that I am in the minority on this issue but I believe that pre-release anythings should pass a very high hurdle before being considered encyclopedic. They are inherently difficult to verify and maintain. Rossami (talk) 22:59, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. I personally can't see the problem with unreleased things having articles. There's plenty of them, and it isn't as if the game is going to suddenly vanish before it's release. (If it does, then it will be even more notable). Xezbeth 19:55, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
