Zil Banthrop: original work of fiction. Claimed to be part of the Toejam Jawallaby Usenet hoax, but the biography as stated in Zil Banthrop is not attested in Usenet. The sole mention of Zil Banthrop, on the web or in Usenet, is a one-liner in which Rich Rosen claimed that the greatest tambourinist of all time was Zil Banthrop [1].
