Talk:Slaughtering

Isn't the noun just "slaughter"? Deb 21:38 May 15, 2003 (UTC) I would agree that "slaughter" is preferred to "slaughtering." Don't we also talk about a "slaughterhouse" rather than "slaughteringhouse"? By the way, the word is etymologically related to the Dutch word "slager" and the Frisian word "slachter" both of which mean "butcher." [User:Bert]17:30 February 14, 2005 (St. Catharines, Ont.)

Is this disambig page really necessary? The first two references are basically to the same thing, the third is a dictionary entry, and the fourth one is unrelated since nobody would enter 'slaughtering' to come to that page. squell 04:46, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
