1984 is Rikuzen-Ono Station is changed into a Simple Trust style station, but I'm not sure about the Simple Trust bit... -William McDuff 10:09, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, I've been using simple online translators for complicated things (and sometimes they help), but sometimes they come out with answers I don't understand. I got "Simple Trust" the same way, but I didn't include it because I thought it might be a little confusing (I have no clue what "Simple trust" means).
- The ones I'm having trouble with are as follows:
- 1984: 陸前小野駅簡易委託化。
- 1988: 陸前大塚駅交換設備使用開始。 (second half of Japanese entry)
- 1991:陸前原ノ町電車区閉所、宮城野電車区へ移転。
- If you look at Niitsuki Station [[1]] and it's Japanese page, it suggests that Simple Trust might be something similar to 'Ghost Station'. Maybe. -William McDuff 09:03, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hmmm... I think that might fit, but if it was a "ghost station", I think it would simply say, "automated" (無人化) instead of "simple trust conversion" or whatever (簡易委託化). I'll see if I can find anything on it, but I'm not sure there will be much (if anything) out there, so I guess "automated" might do for the time being until something better is figured out.

- "簡易委託化" refers to a station whose operation has been transferred from the railway company to a local government, business, person, etc. The only thing that the station employee does is sell and collect tickets. You can read this explanation from the Japanese Wikipedia for details. armage 04:29, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
