[edit]adminship
[edit]I'd like to know a bit more about you if I'm to support you at this stage. Perhaps a bit about you're background, age, who you are. Enough to show you'd use sysop powers sensibly. At the moment, all I can see is your edits - which aren't (to date) enough to convince me. Kind regards, jguk 23:43, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- --You need to research me some more? Please feel free to do so, the answers to all your questions can be found in my edits on wikipedia namespace discussions. Since my age and background don't seem germaine to the issue, though, I'll decline to repeat myself. You voted to oppose me because you don't know enough about me? If I don't know enough about a candidate, I don't vote on them, or I find out more... I don't vote against someone if I have no reason to oppose them. Did you have some reason for opposing me? I think yours should have been a neutral vote if you don't. I'd prefer to gain adminship on the merits of the content and discussion I have added to wikipedia, not on the basis of my biography. To Table or Tabled
[edit]Thanks for reminding me about the dual meaning of table the verb. Being in the U.S. I have fallen prey to its American meaning, but in Canada it follows British usage, so it is confusing to me as well(being a Canadian, that is). In the future I'll try and clarify which meaning I am using to make it clear to our various English speaking members. — © Alex756 01:45, 28 Jan 2005 (UTC)
