I don't know what to say about Emo (Depressive Insult) except that it's not an suitable topic for an article. Googling for emo insult yields many chance associations. Wile E. Heresiarch 15:06, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I think I've heard "emo" used as an insult from time to time, but even in the best case, I can't say I see how this could ever be better than a dictdef. And the current definition is... not quite right... Recommend Delete. - RedWordSmith 18:03, Nov 24, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Kids will use anything as an insult. Remember the article for "Carbface?" I never liked the whole pretence of a genre called "emo," either -- seemed like horribly sloppy criticism, even by rock standards -- but there's no way to write an article about this insult. Kids insult each other, and life would be simpler if everyone could go to bed one night 11 years old and wake up the next morning 19. Geogre 18:25, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete! Not only is it a dictdef, the *term* emo was around long before 2004, long before this supposed band Emo came along and took credit for making "emo" an insult. --Idont Havaname 18:27, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I don't know alot about American (or English) insults, but wouldn't it make sense to delete this article and add a line about that emo can be used as an insult on the page for the emo music genre. Jeltz 18:46, 2004 Nov 24 (UTC)
- "Emo, emo, emo..." I thought I was at least going to read something about Emo Philips comic style, but no such luck. Delete non-notable neologism. Fire Star 20:49, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Emo is notable. Merge what is useful. --L33tminion | (talk) 03:13, Nov 26, 2004 (UTC)
- I've made an attempt to do so. This article, at any rate, can be safely deleteed. -leigh 10:23, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
